Project Life by Paulis Liepa
“Black and white and colour images of silence, yesterday’s tea and good old dreams. About things that have a life of their own and about things that tell their own stories. Things that have grown together with time, with each other and ourselves. And it's not even intended to look like art. Those are plane tables, technical drawings, visual aids for life as we see it day in, day out. Or as we would like to see it. Project “Life”. Fray, forgotten in the darkest corner of the attic, lost in heaps of paper, turning yellow, accidentally found during the rare Sunday cleanings. Always present, yet almost never completely finnished,“ explains Paulis Liepa.
