Vilnius is the city of rivers and, thus, it is not accidentally named after one of them, Vilnelė (Lithuanian for ripple). Located on the bank of the River Neris, KultFlux is an open platform for cultural events that was initiated aiming to breathe new life into otherwise unfrequented territories. This project seeks to contribute to the ongoing discussion concerning the urban value of the abandoned city waters flowing just through the very centre of the city and structuring its identity. KultFlux is also there to organise and host various musical, film, visual art, and educational events. Moreover, after the opening of a small wine bar, the platform is now attracting more and more urbanites willing to immerse themselves into this confluence of the river and discourses on urbanism.
