1/4 Satori was originally mainly a website gathering information and opinions on philosophy, literature and fine arts. After publishing a translation series on philosophy, 1/4 Satori today also functions as a bookstore, providing Riga with its only specialist bookstore for publications on philosophy, art and literature by Latvian as well as foreign publishers. There is also a stack of local and foreign secondhand books to be purchased at a good price. EI, 2009
